Martin Anda is a Senior Lecturer in Environmental Engineering at Murdoch University and a HURIWA research associate. He has a PhD from Murdoch in the field of technology transfer in indigenous communities. Martin has worked with indigenous communities since 1988, principally in conjuntion with the Murdoch University Remote Area Developments Group on various research, consultancy and training programs related to housing and infrastructure service delivery.
Martin coordinates the Remote Area Developments Group (RADG) and is a founding member of the Indigenous Design Collaborative which is a cross-cultural environmental design program involving indigenous communities, universities, government and industry in Western Australia. As part of the Desert Knowledge CRC, Martin is a Project Leader the Core Project 5. He has project managed 2 AHURI projects on indigenous housing.
